I wont waste your time and make you read through a bunch of spiel, made up packages and false discounts before I reveal my prices. The structure I have is very simple, the following cost are what I apply for PT sessions, however I do also offer monthly training programs, nutrition coaching and other options to suite your budget. Sometimes I only see people once a month just to help them stay focused! if your not sure about the prices below then please get in touch.
How I work with you
Ideally, I need to see you at least twice a week to help you achieve a good result, however if this is out of your budget range now I understand, contact me and we can discuss how I might be able to make it work with you, In some cases I see people once a week or even once a fortnight to write a fitness programs for people to do when I'm not there or give them home exercises requiring little to no equipment.
How my rates are worked out
Personal training is an investment, you don't just pay per session, you pay for the benefits you get outside of those sessions, like more energy, less pain, higher confidence levels etc. For many of my clients, the work I do is essential. I pride myself on excellence. I've worked hard to attain the knowledge, skills and experience to get to where I am and I have no qualms about blowing my own trumpet and saying I'm one of the best personal trainers in Hull and indeed the Yorkshire area. I could probably give a lot of London PT's I know a good run for their money too! and they charge two or three times what I charge!
For most people wanting to get in shape these days there are a lot of options, from fitness apps, budget gyms and bootcamps.
From an exercise and movement point of view, Ill get your body doing things you never thought possible. During the first block of sessions, my clients are blasting through workouts with more strength and tenacity than they thought possible. This can only be done with smart progressions and a program which takes into account every possible variable for you specifically, including your age, experience, injury history, specific goals and how you respond to certain exercises. Its an ongoing process which Ill be constantly monitoring.1
What I wont do is batter you every session so that you feel sore and think it must be doing something. This just isnt a smart way of exercising, but unfortunately many trainers out there seem to follow this logic. I would rather have you reach a stage of mastery with exercise so that youre not getting the soreness any more and you're crushing every session like a boss.
From a nutrition point of view, you can rest assured that I wont be throwing any extreme diets your way. I've been there and done that. I've also had my head in research and books and I know now that the most effective way to get the best results with food is to put together a plan which is full of high quality nutrients set at the right calorie level and, most of all, is something a person can actually stick to and be monitored with and held accountable to on a regular basis. Getting the right blend of diet flexibility with enough guidelines to help people attain a result and move towards independance is my goal. I want all clients to end up with autonomous diet control.
I wont ever overstep my mark as a fitness professional. I refer out to physios when clients come to me with injuries and on other issues I've signposted to courses, books or any other option which I think may help a person better than I can.
